Hi,
Today I made cupcakes with a friend and we used my favorite buttercream recipe. Since this blog is all about sharing my favorites and saving you money, I had to include this video. I hope you love it as much as I do…it is so fun and easy and the best frosting for cupcakes!! Here is a picture of the cupcakes I made. I filled the papercups a bit full, so they overflowed just a tad))

Recipe:
4 sticks of softened butter
4 cups powdered sugar
inside from 1/2 of a vanilla bean (leave out if you want pure white)
beat icing for 5-7 minutes
1 large disposable pastry bag for decorating.
Gel based food coloring (I love her tips on colored frosting)
