Link up party Mar. 31- April 5

March 31, 2011

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Eats and Treats Link up party Last Thursday and helped me kick off my first Linky event!!!! There were so many amazing foods and kitchen/cooking related items. Each week I said I would feature a few recipes from the past week.  What was I thinking??? Did I not realize how hard that decision would be?? I guess NOT!!   I decided to highlight a few cupcakes that were in the group.

Starting off are the burger cupcakes!! Look out Mc D’s!! I love that Party NV’ made these for her step son’s Birthday  school treat. She has to be the coolest mom ever!!. I bet the kids went crazy!! To get the full tutorial check out Party NV.

Oh, and if you need cute cup  cake toppers they can design some for you for any occassion!

Check out these fresh looking Sunshine cupcakes that Shaundra made at Loo- La- Bee Simplicity. They do make me think of the sunshine. I LOVE lemon in desserts!! YUM!! Looks like a fun and simple recipe the family will enjoy!! Her kids are so cute…I loved seeing the pictures of them sampling the cupckaes!!

The next cupcakes aren’t ones you can eat, but enjoy!! I’m loving felt flowers and these are so cute! Boogaboo shares how she made these cute flowers and gives some good tips for party favors!! Be sure and check out her site….it’s really fun!

Now time for the Link up details:

eats and treats thursday

Don’t forget to link directly to the specific recipe post you are sharing so people can find it when they click on your photo. I didn’t understand how to do it correctly when I first started sharing at link parties. In case you don’t know how here is the scoop. Click on the blog post title that your recipe is located in and then go to the top of your computer screen and copy the url address…you know the one that starts with   http://   that address is the direct link. If you have any questions…just ask I’ll be happy to help with what little knowledge I have.

thanks for the invite rene! i have a question for you– so i am pretty new to these linky parties and i see these buttons people like me to put on the bottom.. but if i go in and edit this old post then it seems to republish the whole post– sending it out again and bringing it back to the top on my home page??? is there a trick i don’t know about? i would love to help the blogs that host the link parties but i obviously can’t go back and do that every time. any ideas? thanks. 🙂
