Where do you get small tension rods? I have never seen them this size. I have only seen them the size for a bathtub shower curtain.
bargain hoot says
Hi Lucille, Look for them in the drapery section of the store.

Love these ideas. I also use an extra shower rod in the guest bathroom behind the curtain to hide items I do not want to fully dry in the dryer.

Love the idea of an extra shower rod!!I may have to try that!

I use shower curtain rods to hang home made drapes or shower curtains inside of the 3 tier storage shelves (48x 72) to hide what’s on them.

Great idea! Grandma Smith! Thanks for sharing.

I have used tension rods to store ribbon, but in a different way. Rather than sticking the rod through the center of the spool, I put two tension rods parallel to each other and rest the spool between them. I have more info at diysisters.com (search ribbon storage). We also use tension rods at our house for puppet shows or forts. Put a tension rid across a doorway, drape a blanket over it and you have a puppet theater. Or put two tension rods across a hallway, drape a blanket over both and instant fort! Tension rods are awesome!

Love the idea for the tension rods fir Pot&Pan Lids.
A few years ago, I used a shower curtain tension rod between cabinets to hang a valance. About 8″ below the valance, I used an identical rod & hung matching quilted place mats vertically, held by round wooden curtain rings w/tiny clips to hold tfs place mats. I loved the look.
