Welcome to Bargain Hoot!
My name is Rene’ and I’m the 40 something (yikes) host behind each post. That’s me in the photo below with my awesome family!! If it looks like I’m hanging on to my son and I don’t want to let go, you’re probably right, but there comes a time in life when letting go is the right thing…. It’s Gods plan. So we rejoice and thank Him for this new path in our lives.
My husband and I are officially “empty nesters”, but we stay busy…that’s where Bargain Hoot comes in for me …it’s my new little hobby and I’m enjoying myself. I started BH to track and share bits of my creative thrifty side. So if you love bargains, DIY decor, recipes, crafting, and doing cute weddings/events for less then you might enjoy looking around!!! I hope you find something that inspires you and saves you money!!

I just wanted to drop you a line and say that I really enjoy your blog! (My four year old son loves your graphics, as he is crazy about owls! I know. A very odd thing for a four year old to be crazy about…) Anyhow, I have recently started my own blog/website, and I have just added a page for some of my favorite links. I have included your blog and that page! I probably should have asked first, but my husband says everyone appreciates a little free advertising! Anyhow, if you would rather not have a link on my page, please just let me know and I will take it down!

Sorry I don’t sell PB fabric….
Depending on what you are using it for you can sometimes buy duvet covers and curtains at the outlet and use them for fabric…
Also try ebay….. Another great source are painters drop cloths and JoAnn Fabrics..

I see a lovely kitchen table but can’t seem to get that picture pulled up. (It has a cream bowl and two little trees on each side). I am looking for a new kitchen table and enjoyed the decorating of your home!
