I was reading about antibacterial wallpaper and the nanotechnology they used to make it happen. It is really fascinating and described in more detail here by NanoWerk.I found some antibacterial wallpaper from Graham and Brown . Below is one sample…..click on their name for other styles.
The wall paper isn’t low on the budget, but I’m wondering if it will save on doc visits. It seems like a great idea for bathrooms and kitchens.
Is there such a thing as antibacterial paint? I wondered so I looked it up and came across a company named Boysen Healthy Home Paints.
They have a healthy home paint that is a odor-less, low VOC, premium acrylic, water-based interior coating with exclusive Microban®antibacterial protection to give extra protection against bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella, as well as mold, mildew and fungus. Microban® technology is incorporated into the paint at the manufacturing stage and does not wash or wear off.
Just a few healthy choices to keep the germs away…I can really see how these would be beneficial in the hospitals!

Wow! That’s pretty amazing. I’m sure the paint isn’t too cheap either! But what a concept!
