This is the easiest crock pot roast on the planet. It is tender and full of flavor every time. It works out great for this
burrific snowy weather we are having.
ingredients:
1 package of Lipton onion soup mix
1 English cut roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup (optional)
Add some butter to the pan and brown the meat in a hot skillet real quick to sear in the flavors and add a nice color.
Place roast in the crock pot and add about 1/2 inch of water.
Spoon Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup over the top and stir it around the sides.
Put a little water in the pan to get up the bits and pour over the roast.
Pour 1 package of Lipton onion soup mix over the top. (2 packages come in a box)
Add cut up potatoes and carrots…. Onions are optional
Set it and forget it. I usually cook it all day on low.
