How I save money at Hobby Lobby

April 16, 2011

I save money at Hobby Lobby by signing up on their website  www.hobbylobby.com  so I can receive weekly e-mail specials. I also check my Sunday paper for posted ads and coupons for 40 percent off. I find my Hobby Lobby ad posted in the Living section of our paper. If I want to save 50 percent on an item…. I’ve learned to be patient and watch the ads that list the instore sales. There are certain depts. that seem to be half off one week every month. This week all florals are half off along with framing, certain  home accent categories like glassware/crosses/clocks, jewelry making, and spring and Easter items. Next week there will be other areas half off. If you’re not in a hurry and you need to buy several vases for an event wait and watch the ads, they’ll be on sale again the next month. They also have a discounted section in there store where you can score on some great deals. Do you remember the paint party my mom and I had? Everything I purchased was 90 percent off. The large candlesticks we painted were between $1.99 – $3.99 each.

DIY Spray paint decorating ideas

I love them they are so easy to move around different places in our home.

Here I have them on our coffee table in our living room.

I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and picked up a bunch of 50% off glass jars for food storage! I was so happy!
And don’t forget you can print out the Hobby Lobby coupons from online…there is usually a 40% every other week or so…and you can print it out as many times as you want.

    Great post!

I’m soooooo jealous!! I see all these awesome projects and when I was planning our wedding I’d see these great DIY ideas, but we just don’t HAVE a Hobby Lobby around here. We have Michaels and whatever’s left in the craft section at Target. So bummed. 🙁

    Dancy,
I know what you mean about wedding craft supplies. We didn’t have Hobby Lobby close to us when my son got married. We just got ours a few years ago. I hope you get one soon!
