Already smelling Fall here on the central coast of California. Getting out my deco’s and the garland would be the perfect thing to finish off my little cottage.

    Rene,

You always find the cutest decorative items – love the fall garland. I can see it hanging across the mirror in my dining room.

I wanted to let you know that I finally (took me about 10 months to get them done) was able to hang the Walmart Better Homes & Garden curtains that you blogged about last year. I chose the blue plaid for my home office and the rust / gold plaid for my living and dining room. It’s hard to believe what a difference they make to my rooms – they really dress them up.

Thanks again for the tips and please keep finding them and letting us know about them.

Somewhere, there is a young scarecrow girl wishing to be able to thread this through her hair. A lovely linear hello of fall colors and symbols.

It’s been hard to see us on the cusp of fall here in coastal South Carolina, but we’ve finally been seeing a dip in temps and I can’t wait to drag my fall decorations out of the attic! I love this time of year…and just bought a cinnamon spicy pumpkinish candle to sniff and remind me all week!

I am also going to try to make this. I grew indian corn in my garden this year and have been searching for a creative way to put the ears together. I think I will string the garland outside from the garage to the “little shed”. Something like those prayer flags I think there called.
