Check out our newest upcycled project.
There are tons of ways to alter, embellish and reconstruct old
clothes into current wardrobe pieces. I believe the term is upcycling.
Take for instance this denim jacket. The style is inspired by a more expensive retail jacket
I shared in a post last month.
It’s simple to copy. First, cut the sleeves off both the denim coat and the sweatshirt.
Next, remove the hood. Finally, stitch the sweatshirt sleeves and the hood onto the denim vest. That’s it!
A big thank you goes out to Emily, our newest contributor,
for taking the time to model the jacket for you!!
It fits her perfect, and she makes it look even more adorable!!!!
I’m really excited about working with our models on more
Fashion Friday projects in the future!!
