Repurposing inexpensive…. or even freebie Tshirts is so much fun and kind of addicting!!!
Check out this NO SEW tote that GAP made from an upcycled T.
They surprised us with a fun DIY craft in our emails a few weeks ago.
Who knew GAP was crafty!!
I was so excited to make this….seriously…(you can make it in 5 minutes)!!
I went ahead and bought an XL shirt from Michael’s for about $3.00
with the coupon. Maybe I bought a L. sorry, but it’s one or the other.
Thank you to someone who gave me the Michael’s Tshirt tip….sorry…
can’t remember who told me about buying them there.
Anyway, the Tshirt needs to be really big… so the fringe is long. It looks cuter with longer fringe.
I tried cutting the strips shorter with a smaller shirt and it looks to small for an adult.
Here’s the one I made.
If you are interested in making this tote… go to my Facebook page for the GAP directions link.
I cut my strips 8″ long…10 would even be cute.
