Are you looking for some Inexpensive Updates for Fall? Jenna is sharing some inspiring
decorating ideas to help jump start our homes for the new season! Thank you… Jenna!
I live in Kansas City where we just endured one of the hottest Summers on record so I am happily embracing the cooler mornings and early signs of Fall. I’m not a huge fan of seasonal decor that is too traditional or over-the-top and for me Fall is the perfect opportunity to utilize natural elements and subtle accents to warm up my home.
You don’t have to look far, or spend much money to incorporate some colorful accents for the season into your home.
Showcase the Outdoors Inside
A mantle is the perfect place to showcase natural elements. This mantle is as easy as scavenging your front yard. Frame a few colorful leaves and trim a couple tree branches to display in a vase for a stylish and modern look.

Add a Punch of Warm Color
Cozy up your sofa or favorite reading chair with a pillow or throw in a warm red or burnt orange color.
Jute Throw Pillow from World Market $29.99
Garment-Dyed Throw from West Elm $24.99
Rustic Flare
My mom gave me this set of chargers from Pottery Barn last Fall and I have found them an incredibly versatile accent to my table. They are great paired with warm-colored cloth napkins in the Fall but work great with bright colors in the Spring as well.Tava Charger from Pottery Barn $18
Set of 4 Paisley Napkins World Market $13.96
Involve the Kids and Add a Whimsical Touch
Decorating isn’t something we usually think of as being kid-friendly. But PaperSource has some great crafts that the kids can take part in and will add a whimsical touch to your home.
Fall Leaf Wreath Kit Paper Source $19.50
Acorn Garland Kit from Paper Source $13.95
Provide a Warm Welcome
Nothing feels more welcoming than a cozy Fall entryway. A simple Fall wreath and flowers, I just purchased two huge Mums from Costco for $15 a piece, creates an inviting entry.
